Curator's Notes 

We are proud to present our in-house designed Keepsake Kids Chair to share the nostalgia of the chair we were most fond of growing up. Drawn from our memories of music lessons and practices, this chair is inspired by the piano bench we spent countless hours on. Like a piano bench, this chair features a hinged seat that reveals hidden storage underneath. While such hidden compartments were originally meant to store sheet music, our hope is that a child using our chair will use the hidden storage to house their personal mementos for safe-keeping. Made of solid white oak by wood artisan John Medley, the chair has a magnetic insert that produces resistance for a gentle close to protect the littlest fingers.
