But times have also changed in guitar land and the Eastman E1D proves that you can simply have a top guitar for an attractive price. This topper is a Dreadnought steel string with, as mentioned before, a completely solid top, made of spruce, and a solid Sapele side and back. Add to this the Mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, and the result is a no-nonsense steel string acoustic guitar where no concessions have been made to quality.
